Comments and Suggestions

We are happy to accept and consider comments and suggestions from our patients. There is a box in Main Reception where you can leave your comments/suggestions in writing.

Complaints Procedures

We always try to provide the best service possible but there may be times when you feel that this has not happened. If you wish to make a complaint please write to Dawn Barnham, Operations Administrator, The Beaches Medical Centre, Sussex Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk NR31 6QB or telephone the Practice on 01493 414141 and ask to be put through to Dawn Barnham. We have an in-house complaints procedure which will allow us to look into and if necessary, correct any problems or mistakes that you have identified.

Complaints Policy

Being Responsive to Patients' Complaints and Suggestions

Doctors and Staff have the right to carry out their jobs in a safe environment without fear of harassment, threats or intimidation.

We follow the NHS policy of Zero Tolerance and any such behaviour may result in the cancellation of your registration with this Practice. We have the right to remove from our list any patient who is violent or abusive to any member of the team.

If a patient is violent, the Police will be called and a formal statement made about the violent behaviour. The patient will be removed from the Practice list immediately and the Police may take further action (for example taking an Anti-Social Behaviour Order out against the patient.)

Please help us to carry out our jobs by treating all Doctors and Staff with dignity and respect.
